2. Eligible Return & Refund Scenarios

Damaged in Transit

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide your order number
  • Include clear photographs of the damaged product and outer packaging
  • Do not discard the damaged item or packaging until your claim is resolved

Defective or Incorrect Products

  • Contact us within 14 days of delivery
  • Describe the defect or discrepancy in detail (incorrect product, incorrect strength, incorrect quantity, missing item, etc.)
  • Replacement or a prepaid return label will be issued at our cost

Purity Concerns

Verified purity issues receive a 100% refund or immediate replacement. Purity claims must be substantiated by independent third-party laboratory analysis (HPLC/MS) demonstrating that the product does not match the COA specifications supplied with the lot.

4. Shipment Protection

All orders include shipment protection at no extra cost. This covers:

  • Packages lost in transit (no carrier scan for more than 14 business days)
  • Packages marked as delivered by the carrier but not received (stolen-package claims) when reported within 48 hours of the marked delivery time

Shipment protection claims require the original order number and, where applicable, a brief written statement of non-receipt.

5. Non-Returnable Items

For the safety of all researchers and to maintain the integrity of our reference standards, the following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Products with broken or tampered security seals
  • Reconstituted or mixed compounds
  • Partially used products
  • Products that have been stored outside the storage guidelines on the COA
  • Late claims submitted outside the windows defined in Section 2
  • Custom or special-order formulations

6. Additional Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return, your request must meet all of the following conditions:

  • The return request is made within 30 days of the delivery date
  • The product remains unopened, unused, and in its original packaging with the security seal intact
  • The product has been stored according to the guidelines on the COA (typically −20 °C, protected from light and moisture)

7. How to Request a Return or Refund

  1. Email us at support@peppyuniversity.com with your order number in the subject line
  2. Include photographs and a brief description of the issue
  3. Our team will review your request and respond within 24 hours (Mon – Fri)
  4. Approved claims are processed according to the timeframes listed in Section 3

8. Damaged or Incorrect Orders — Urgent

If your order arrives visibly damaged or contains the wrong item, please contact us at support@peppyuniversity.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photographs. Prompt reporting allows us to escalate the carrier claim and ship a replacement without delay.

9. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled for a full refund if they have not yet been shipped. Once an order has been dispatched, it is subject to the return policy outlined above. To request a cancellation, email support@peppyuniversity.com with your order number as soon as possible after placing the order.

10. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, the credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5 – 7 business days of approval. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 1 – 2 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (incorrect item shipped, defective product, or damaged in transit).

11. Chargebacks & Disputes

We kindly ask that you contact our support team first to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. In nearly all cases we can issue a refund or replacement faster than the chargeback process, and we are committed to making it right.
